Krista Brakauskas, of Providence, is this week’s Jenny’s Steakhouse/SouthtownStar Girls Volleyball Player of the Week.
Brakauskas, a senior setter, had 60 assists and nine service aces as the Celtics went 4-1 for the week and won the Plainfield North Tournament title. In the championship match, a 25-16, 17-25, 25-18 victory over Naperville North, she had 19 assists and six kills.
