Oak Lawn cell phone store robbed at gunpoint

Oak Lawn police are searching for two suspects who robbed a cell phone store at gunpoint Tuesday evening.
The armed robbery occurred in the 10300 block of South Cicero Avenue, when two men entered the store at about 6:30 p.m. and pointed handguns at the two male employees, police said.
They made the employees lie on the floor while they escaped with cash, police said.
A canine unit tracked the offenders’ scent to a parking lot at 103rd Street and Lacrosse Avenue, where the scent ended. Police believe the pair may have fled in a vehicle from there.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as two black males, both about 35 years old and just over 6 feet tall. One was wearing a multicolored baseball cap and brown jacket, and the other was in a New York baseball cap, with a dark jacket, orange shirt, black jeans and white gym shoes with a dark stripe, police said.
