Oak Forest man dies after Tinley Park crash

A 50-year-old Oak Forest man died early Friday after an automobile accident Monday in Tinley Park, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

David Vanheel, of the 15000 block of South Spruce Lane, was pronounced dead at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights at 12:13 a.m. Friday, the examiner’s office said Friday.

Vanheel was involved in a crash that occurred Monday near 159th Street and Oak Park Avenue in Tinley Park, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Tinley Park police could not immediately be reached for comment early Friday morning.
