Jacob Platt, of Andrew, is this week’s Pepsi-Cola/SouthtownStar Football Player of the Week.
Platt was productive with his arm and legs during a 27-0 win over Thornton. The senior completed 15-of-26 passes for 157 yards and rushed for 108 yards and two touchdowns. Andrew opens up the Class 7A playoffs Friday with a road game against Benet at Benedictine University.
