Hoop scoop . . .

Yep. Sneed is told that President Barack Obama, who planned to hit town at midnight last night, will continue his Election Day ritual by playing basketball at a court on Harrison Street on the West Side between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. with his buddies — and some added sizzle.

◆ The hoop du jour: Sneed is told Obama has invited several NBA players to join him on the court . . . and the tittletattle is one of them is former Chicago Bulls guard Randy Brown, who won championships with the team in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

◆ Translation: Former State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, an old court mate, also will join Obama’s BFF Marty Nesbitt and his former personal aide Reggie “The Body Man” Love in a pickup basketball game Tuesday. “He plans to spend Election Day here by bouncing around the city,” said a source. Veep Joe Biden also will be in Chicago.

◆ Home game: POTUS and FLOTUS will stay at their Kenwood home after an election night party at McCormick Place.

Obamarama . . .

Mr. Unsociable! Sneed is told Obama, described by a former aide in a recent magazine article as really not liking people and being “not close to almost anyone” — has apparently “never eaten dinner at anyone’s house in Washington, D.C., except his top adviser/best friend Valerie Jarrett ,” according to a top Dem source.

The Kirk file . . .

Scoopsville: U.S. Sen. Mark Kirk, who didn’t let a stroke stop him from walking 37 flights to the top of Willis Tower on Sunday, plans to return to Washington, D.C., next month with an occupational therapist to prepare him for the “daily challenges” of living and working in the nation’s capital, according to a top GOP source.

◆ To wit: “He wants to be back there for the swearing in of the new Congress and, of course, Mitt Romney as president,” the source said.

Hill & Bill . . .

Sneed hears Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who is now in D.C., is more than a little concerned about the health of her uber-thin hubby, Bill, who spent the last few days on the Obama campaign trail practically speechless and tapping his chest — his raspy voice drifting into laryngeal ooze.

◆ Up shot: The former president, who has a history of serious heart problems, even joked to his adoring crowds Saturday night that he lost his voice “in the service of my president.”

Music notes . . .

Singer Glen Campbell, who has Alzheimer’s, will perform at the Alzheimer’s gala Monday night at the Art Institute. Also making an appearance will be actress Jane Seymour, whose hubby, James Keach (brother of actor Stacy Keach) is filming this phase of Campbell’s career for a documentary.

Sneedlings . . .

Get well wishes to the inimitable “Svengoolie,” a k a Rich Koz, who is recovering after a heart attack last weekend . . . Tuesday’s birthdays: Sally Field, 66; Ethan Hawke, 42, and Maria Shriver, 57.
