Restaurant buildings to be auctioned

Bryan Sord, owner of 94 West Steak & Seafood in Orland Park and The Charley Horse in New Lenox, plans to sell the buildings and lease them back, according to an Orland Park company hired to auction the properties.
An auction of 94 West, 15410 S. 94th Ave., and Charley Horse, 901 E. U.S. 30, is scheduled for Dec. 14, according to Diliberto Real Estate Services.
Its website said another Sord-owned property, the Park Hills car wash/oil change shop, at 9401 W. 171st St., Tinley Park, also will be auctioned on that date. The auction information indicates Sord would lease back the properties from whoever buys them.
The 8,000-square-foot 94 West is valued at $6.3 million, while the replacement cost for Charley Horse is $5.3 million, according to the website. Diliberto’s firm said the Park Hills business has revenue of $1.15 million.
Sord also owns a Charley Horse restaurant in Munster, Ind. Earlier this year, he closed the Tinley Park Charley Horse, 9501 W. 171st St., which was in the same retail center as the Park Hills business.
