Riverdale man, 39, found dead in Chicago

A Riverdale man was found shot to death in a vehicle in Chicago’s Armour Square neighborhood early Saturday.
The man, 29, who was found unresponsive about 2:30 a.m., was shot in the vehicle in the 300 block of West 37th Street, police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said.
Walter K. Pate, of the 13900 block of Dearborn Street in Riverdale, was dead at the scene, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Police previously listed the address of the shooting as the 3700 block of South Wentworth Avenue.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
