Man robs Burbank bank

A man wearing a bright yellow traffic vest robbed a bank branch in Burbank on Saturday.

The man robbed the TCF Bank branch in a Jewel store at 7910 S. Cicero Ave., according to the Chicago FBI office.

He implied that he had a weapon, but no weapon was shown. The robber was described as a black man with brown hair and a thin mustache. He is between 5 feet 7 and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt and a bright yellow vest.

So far there have been 13 bank robberies in the Chicago area this year. Last year there were 218 bank robberies in the metropolitan area.
