Weekend LaGrange Road closures planned in Orland Park

Overnight closures of LaGrange Road between 135th and 143rd streets in Orland Park are planned for this weekend, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
That stretch of LaGrange has been closed during the overnight hours to accommodate the demolition of the old Metra rail bridge. Drivers are being directed to Southwest Highway to reroute around the closure.
That portion of LaGrange will be closed, weather permitting, from 10 p.m. Friday until 8 a.m. Saturday, from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday, and from 8 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday.
