With his brother George Zimmerman cleared of any criminal wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager in central Florida, Robert Zimmerman Jr. went on Twitter Saturday night and said his family was relieved.He tweeted:
“Message from Dad: ‘Our whole family is relieved.’ Today... I’m proud to be an American. God Bless America! Thank you for your prayers!”
Later, on CNN, he said, “I don’t think this is a time for high-fiving.”
Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton, the parents of the dead teenager, Trayvon Martin, were reserved but expressed their disappointment. Fulton also went on Twitter and expressed her faith in God, saying, “Lord during my darkest hour I lean on you.” Tracy Martin tweeted:

The dead teen’s brother, Jahvaris Fulton, said: “Et tu America?” — a reference to the Latin phrase “Et tu, Brute?” known as an expression of betrayal.
