Aldi to stock up on employees

Aldi will hold hiring events in the Chicago area Monday as it seeks to fill 200 job openings due to the growth of the grocery store chain.
Locally, Aldi will have representatives at the Hilton Oak Lawn, 9333 S. Cicero Ave., and at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive. The hiring events will take place from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m.

Tourism bureau to hold orientation
The Chicago Southland Convention and Visitors Bureau will host an orientation for new or prospective members at 8:30 a.m. June 20 at the bureau’s offices, 2304 173rd St., Lansing. The event is also open to the general public, and refreshments will be served.
