New segment chief at Landauer

Glenwood-based Landauer Inc., which provides radiation monitoring equipment and services, said it has named Peter Cempellin as president of its radiation measurement segment.
Cempellin will direct and lead the strategic and operating direction for Landauer’s dosimetry products and services business, responsible for manufacturing operations, technical laboratory services and international channel partners within the corporation’s radiation measurement business segment, Landauer said. Prior to joining Landauer, Cempellin was president and chief executive of CAE Healthcare Inc., a provider of simulation training products addressing the educational needs of surgeons, gastroenterologists and cardiologists.

Steger native joins Chicago law office
Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP recently opened a Chicago office, with lawyers in the office including Steger native Kenneth A. Peterson. He was previously with K&L Gates.
