Chamber names new administrator

The Mokena Chamber of Commerce announced that Gail Bastas has been hired as the chamber’s new administrator. She replaced Melissa Fedora, who resigned to pursue other opportunities. The chamber said that Bastas has been a resident of Mokena for 17 years.
Kelly Services to hold career fairs
Kelly Services said it will mark National Manufacturing Day by hosting career fairs at its Southland locations.

Chamber of host business conference
The Illinois Chamber of Commerce will host a small-business conference from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18501 Convention Center Drive. The day will include educational workshops, keynote speakers and vendors.
