Seminar on financial exploitation

The Orland Park Public Library, 14921 S. Ravinia Ave., will host a free seminar on avoiding financial exploitation from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday. The seminar will be presented by Amy DeLaney, a certified elder law attorney who handles financial exploitation cases, who will also discuss the recovery of stolen or ill-gotten funds. Financial seminar for women
Marquette Bank will hold a free financial seminar starting at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 18 at Petey’s II, 15900 S. LaGrange Road, Orland Park.
Titled “Women, Money and Power,” the seminar will cover various financial topics specific to women.

ID theft talk at chamber lunch
Mike Tardi, director of security at Standard Bank, will discuss identity theft at the Palos Area Chamber of Commerce lunch Tuesday at The Center, 12700 Southwest Highway, Palos Park. The meeting will be held in the lodge.
Check-in starts at 11:45 a.m. with the presentation at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $20.
