ComEd chief to speak at St. Xavier

Anne Pramaggiore, president and chief executive of ComEd, will speak Oct. 18 at St. Xavier University, 3700 W. 103rd St., Chicago, as part of the school’s “Breakfast with the Experts” series. The event is being sponsored by the university and the Beverly Area Planning Association.
A networking breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m. followed by Pramaggiore’s talk at 8 a.m.

‘Steelworkers for Future’ open house
Prairie State College is hosting a “Steelworkers for the Future” open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 22 at the school, 202 S. Halsted St., Chicago Heights. The program is a partnership between PSC and steelmaker ArcelorMittal.
