Orland Park trustees on Monday approved liquor licenses for the planned Cheesecake Factory as well as both Baker’s Square restaurants in the village.
The license for Cheesecake Factory will allow it to serve beer, wine and hard liquor. Cheesecake Factory is expected to open sometime in December in Orland Square Mall. The chain is renovating the former Jos. A. Bank space on the mall’s lower level, near Macy’s.
Licenses for Baker’s Square will allow the restaurants to sell beer and wine only. The chain has restaurants at 15711 S. Harlem Ave. and at 14651 S. LaGrange Road. One license was already available for one of the locations, but trustees needed to approve an increase in the number of Class C licenses for the second Baker’s Square.
