Auction Friday at Graystone

Golf carts, trucks and golf course maintenance equipment are among the items that will be available in an auction that starts at 10 a.m. Friday at Graystone Golf Links, 7600 W. 191st St., Tinley Park.
The nine-hole course is closed and will be turned into a sod farm. The 48 acres of land are not part of the auction, auctioneer Robert Britz, of the Adcock Britz Auction Service, said. Owners of the land have plans to ultimately build a business park on the property.
Tinley Chamber to meet at Odyssey
Kelly O’Brien, senior vice president for economic development with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, will be the featured speaker at the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce meeting starting at 8:15 a.m. Oct. 25 at Odyssey Country Club, 19110 S. Ridgeland Ave., Tinley Park.

OL Chamber open house Nov. 7
The Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce will hold an open house from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at its new offices in the Oak Lawn Metra station, 5120 Museum Drive. A reception for chamber members will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
