Hampton to headline chamber event

Former Chicago Bears defensive tackle Dan Hampton will headline the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce’s holiday sports luncheon Dec. 4 at the Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 Convention Center Drive.
The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and features a silent auction with items including sports memorabilia, tickets to sporting events and hotel weekend packages. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at www.chicagosouthland.com or by calling the chamber at (708) 957-6950.
Coat donations to help veterans
The Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce will hold its holiday party from 6 to 11 p.m. Dec. 20 at Veterans of Foreign Wars Bremen Post 2791, 17147 S. Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park.
During the party, the chamber will collect gently used coats which will benefit local veterans in need. The cost of the chamber party is $30. For information, call (708) 532-5700 or email info@tinleychamber.org.
Ettleson Hyundai collecting toys
Ettleson Hyundai, 6420 Joliet Road, is collecting new toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. Through Dec. 20, toys can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
