Countryside-based Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant said Tuesday it has added five corporate executive team members to accommodate the company’s aggressive growth strategies.
David Grooms was named senior vice president of information systems. Grooms was a former vice president and chief information officer at McDonald’s Corp. Michael Moore, formerly with China Grill, was named vice president of operations.
Jill Golder, who formerly worked as senior vice president of finance at Darden Restaurant’s specialty restaurant group, was named chief financial officer at Cooper’s Hawk. She will replace Dee Sortino, who assumes a new role at Cooper’s Hawk as executive vice president of production.
Ron Dee has joined the company as senior vice president of development, while Robert Hartley has been named director of culinary operations.
In January, Peter D’Amelio, former president of The Cheesecake Factory, joined Cooper’s Hawk as chief operating officer.
Cooper’s Hawk said the team expansion will support plans for eight to 10 new restaurant locations through 2014.
The company now has 10 locations in three states, including one in Orland Park, and has plans to open new restaurants in Florida, Missouri and Ohio. Cooper’s Hawk said it expects 2013 revenues will surpass $100 million.
