CarMax said that Rebecca Sckrabulis, manager of the company’s Oak Lawn location, has been named a recipient of the CarMax Cares Community Service Award. Sckrabulis was among nine CarMax employees from around the country to receive the award.
The company said she has organized several volunteer events over the past several years, and has worked with organizations including the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House and The Bridge Teen Center. Each winner chose a nonprofit to receive a $5,000 grant from the CarMax Foundation, with Sckrabulis selecting Girls on the Run Chicago.
