Quinn to speak at chamber luncheon

Gov. Pat Quinn will be the guest speaker at the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Consensus Luncheon on Oct. 14.
The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Tinley Park Convention Center, 18451 S. Convention Center Drive, Tinley Park.
Admission is $35 per person or $340 per table for chamber members, and $45 per person or $440 per table for nonmembers.

Quinn was elected lieutenant governor in 2002, re-elected in 2006, and was in office for one term as state treasurer (1991 to 1995). He previously was a commissioner of the Cook County Board of Property Tax Appeals.
The luncheon is sponsored by AT&T, the Holiday Inn Hotel & Tinley Park Convention Center, and the SouthtownStar.
