Chicago Southland to install 2012 officers

The Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce will hold its officer installation Jan. 26 at the DoubleTree hotel in Alsip, 5000 W. 127th St.

Registration and networking start at 5:30 p.m. followed by the program at 6 p.m. Among officers being installed will be John Currier, the 2012 chairman.

Flexeon adds women’s health specialist

Flexeon Rehabilitation in Frankfort said that licensed physical therapist Lauren Mansell has joined the staff. She specializes in women’s health issues including pelvic floor dysfunction, orthopedic dysfunction, back pain, osteoporosis and incontinence.

Mansell earned her doctor of physical therapy degree from Governors State University and has a bachelor’s in psychology and sociology from Northwestern University.

Prior to attaining her doctorate, Mansell worked as a community mental health therapist, emergency room crisis counselor and licensed emergency medical technician.
