Continuing momentum, which began with Throttle Fest Chicago from June 1-3, Toyota Park, 7000 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview, has four more music festivals booked for 2012.
Here’s a look at the summer schedule:
B96 Pepsi SummerBash
Set for 5 p.m. June 16, this popular annual event will feature Flo Rida, the Wanted, Big Time Rush, Sean Paul, Dev, Mike Posner, Karmin, Gym Class Heroes, Havana Brown, Austin Mahone, Kat Graham and more.
There also will be music by the B96 Mixmasters DJ Flipside and the legendary Bad Boy Bill.
The celebrity guest host is Perez Hilton.
Tickets are $9.63 for Level 200, $25-$85 for Level 100 and $50-$125 for field seating.
Set for 3:30 p.m. June 30, this show is sponsored by Kingsford Charcoal.
Performers will include Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, Josh Thompson, Sunny Sweeney and Eric Paslay.
There also will be Bluebird Cafe Artists, a showcase of Nashville, Tenn.’s most talented singer-songwriters.
Folding chairs are allowed, but no blanket seating will be available.
The parking lots will open at 11 a.m. for tailgating, and the doors to the venue will open at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $40.50 for general admission (50 cents goes to the Unite the United charity).
Loopfest: A Showdown of Force
Set for 7 p.m. (5 p.m. doors) July 13, this show will feature Lynyrd Skynyrd, Paul Rodgers and Loverboy.
Tickets are $5-$10 for Level 100, $7-$35 for field and $75 for pit seating.
Carnival of Madness
Set for 5 p.m. Aug. 26, this annual touring rock extravaganza will make its roaring return with rock titans Evanescence, Chevelle, Halestorm, Cavo and New Medicine.
Tickets are $38 for general admission.
