Here is a look at top events you won’t want to miss.
Suggestions include Movie in the Moonlight featuring Disney’s “Brave” at Moraine Valley Community College in Palos Hills.
‘Brave’
Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills, will host the free Movie in the Moonlight featuring Disney’s “Brave” at 7 p.m. Sept. 22 on a 12-foot inflatable screen. Information: (708) 974-5375.
Weekend
Sept. 21’s Weekend magazine will feature a preview of the 2012-13 season at the Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University.
There also will be reviews of the movie “End of Watch” and Theatre at the Center’s “42nd Street” and a preview of “HooDoo Love,” which features the work of a group of Thornridge High School alumni including Nelsan Ellis.

Carpe Weekend looks at local theater shows including Tinley Park Community Theater Group’s “Deathtrap,” “Defamation” at the Beverly Arts Center in Chicago and the PAC Rats Theatre Company of South Suburban College’s “The Mousetrap” in South Holland.
There is also a movie review of “Trouble With the Curve” and a look at the BACinema screening of “Knuckleball!”
