BACinema to screen ‘Compliance’

Beverly Arts Center’s film series continues at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago, with “Compliance.”

Directed by Craig Zobel, the dramatic crime thriller stars Ann Dowd, Dreama Walker and Pat Healy and was inspired by true events.

Dowd was nominated for best supporting female at the 2013 Independent Spirit Awards.

Also, Zobel was nominated for a Golden Leopard at the 2012 Locarno International Film Festival.

Rated R for language and sexual content or nudity, the Magnolia Pictures film runs for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Tickets are $7.50, or $5.50 for center members.
