This group will bring its Las Vegas-style tribute to the legendary band Chicago.
“With dazzling lights, a horn section and crisp execution of material from one of the best-selling American groups, 25 or 6 to 4 — The Chicago Experience offers a high-energy performance of the band’s popular hits,” officials said.
The group consists of top professional musicians who have performed in groups such as the Buckinghams, the Cryan’ Shames and the Shadows of Knight, and with Buddy Guy and Junior Wells.
The band has performed on WGN-TV (Channel 9) and Comcast television, WWYW-FM (103. 9) and WIND-AM (560) and as the opening act for Blue Oyster Cult and Leon Russell.

◆ A Night at the Operetta at 4 p.m. Feb. 3. This is the latest installment in the Opera Up Closer series. Tickets are $35 for onstage seating with the performers. Already available.
Chicago Folks Operetta, a theater company devoted to “the nurturing of live operetta through articulate and dynamic productions,” brings their wealth of talent and artistry to the Opera Up Close stage.
In particular, the group concentrates on producing both Viennese and American operettas from the early 20th century.
Host and performer Gerald Frantzen, along with an ensemble of great singers, will lead the audience through a tour of the most beloved (and some lesser known) operettas in the repertoire.
“Clever, poignant, melodious, elegant and fun. come experience everything that great operetta can be,” officials said.
Viennese pastries and coffee will be offered during this intimate performance.
