Here are events worth getting out of the house for on Feb. 22.

BLOOD DRIVE: Heartland Blood Centers’ blood donation drive will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at Orland Township, 14807 S. Ravinia Ave., Orland Park. Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Information: (800) 786-4483.
