PARENT UNIVERSITY: Andrew High School, 9001 W. 171st St., Tinley Park, will host Parent University at 7 p.m. Breakout sessions will focus on topics including character development in teens, social networking, substance abuse, adjusting to college life, and support of special needs students. DENNIS FOLEY: The author of the Chicago memoir “The Drunkard’s Son” (Side Street Press) will be at Palos Heights Public Library, 12501 S. 71st Ave., at 7 p.m. for a book signing.
