FOR THE LADIES: South Suburban College’s Chicago Women’s Conference & Expo will kick off the fifth annual event at 7:45 a.m. at 15800 S. State St., South Holland. COMEDY SHOW: St. Laurence High School’s Comedy Club will host this fourth annual event at the unusual starting time of 6:31 p.m. in the cafeteria, 5556 W. 77th St. Improvisational humor will be the focus. BASKETBALL FUNDRAISER: Teachers at Lincoln-Way East High School, 201 Colorado Ave, Frankfort, will compete at 7 p.m. in the Mike Davis Faculty Basketball Game, an annual fundraiser for the Lincoln-Way Teachers’ Memorial Scholarship.
