POTPOURRI LECTURE: This series continues with Jan and Stan Moore, who will present “Report from Central Asia” at 10:30 a.m. at the Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood, Blvd. Information: (708) 748-3731.
NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH: Tinley Park residents can attend this meeting at 7 p.m. at Tinley Park Public Library, 7851 Timber Drive. Skip Gonsoulin will speak on the services of the Illinois attorney general’s office where he works. He also will talk about current scams. Information: (708) 532-9111.
ILLUSTRATED PROGRAM: The South Suburban Archaeological Society will present “Digging the Mesoamerican Collections at Field Museum.” Donald McVicker will give a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the collection and present highlights of his own work on 1,600 artifacts from the Central Mexican site of Tlacotepec. The free program will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Marie Irwin Community Center, 18120 Highland Ave., Homewood.
