GIRLS AND BOYS BOOK CLUB: Grande Prairie Public Library, 3479 W. 183rd St., Hazel Crest, will host a meeting of this club for ages 7 to 12 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Information: (708) 798-5563, grandeprairie.org.
MARIACHIS AND MARGARITAS!: New Lenox Public Library hosts this program at 6 p.m. at 120 Veterans Parkway. Ages 13 and older may attend. Those younger than 21 years old must be accompanied by an adult. YOU CAN BREW IT!: Chicago Ridge Public Library will present this event at 7 p.m. at 10400 Oxford Ave. Award-winning brewer and librarian Scott Pointon will discuss the history of home brewing and the styles of beer one can brew.
