“THE ONION FIELD”: Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood Blvd., screens this 1979 film as part of Classic Movie Monday Nights at 6 p.m. Based on Joseph Wambaugh’s 1973 book (Delacorte Press), the crime drama is a true story about a murder case that changed the Los Angeles Police Department’s policies.
