Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park: Governors State University’s outdoor exhibit is open from dawn to dusk at 1 University Parkway, University Park.
The views surrounding the large-scale sculptures by internationally recognized artists change with the seasons.
Formally established by the GSU board in 1978, the park is supported by volunteers and donors who support the mission of distinctive educational outreach and original programming encouraging an interdisciplinary understanding of sculpture and art in contemporary life.
Geoffrey Bates, director and curator of the park, has more than 35 years of experience in the visual arts as a facility director, curator, college professor and practicing studio artist.
