New Year’s Eve Eve Party: Evergreen Park Public Library offers this youth celebration from 11 a.m. to noon at 9400 S. Happy Noon Year Party: Palos Heights Public Library, 12501 S. 71st Ave., hosts this event from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ages 3 to 18 can play games, make a craft and count down to noon (instead of midnight) at this celebration of the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014.
