Here are events worth getting out of the house for on Jan. 20.

Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday Art Project: Midlothian Public Library’s Children’s Department, 14701 S. Kenton Ave., offers people the chance to share their dreams for their families, schools, countries or world and create a Dream Cloud for a group project from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Information: (708) 535-2027 or midlothianlibrary.org.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Trivia Contest: First- to fifth-graders can fill out trivia questionnaires from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Steger-South Chicago Heights Library, 54 E. 31st St., Steger.
