Fractured Fairytales: Union Street Gallery, 1527 Otto Blvd., Chicago Heights, hosts this free family-friendly event from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Storytellers, creative writers and comedians read or present an original fairy tale or a rewrite of a classic. Costumes and props may be featured. Ready-to-read narratives will be available for nonwriters who want to participate.
