Free Kids February: The Museum of Science and Industry, 5700 S. Lake Shore Drive, Chicago, offers free museum entry to ages 3 to 11 when purchased on-site at the ticket counter to Feb. 28. Opera In The Afternoon: Park Forest Public Library, 400 Lakewood Blvd., hosts this screening for adults at 12:30 p.m. Part of the Tutto Verdi project, the rarely performed opera “La Battaglia di Legnano” by Giuseppe Verdi is available for the first time on DVD.
