TV Scientists: Flossmoor Public Library hosts this event for kindergartners to fourth-graders at 7 p.m. at 1000 Sterling Ave. Participants will re-create experiments and activities performed on television’s “Wild Kratts,” “Beakman’s World” and “Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman.” Registration is required and limited. BACinema Screening Of “The Act Of Killing”: Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago, continues its weekly film series at 7:30 p.m. Not rated, the movie runs for 1 hour and 55 minutes.
