“Traditional Art of the Ivory Coast”: The Governors State University Library and GSU Friends of the Library present this inaugural exhibit of the Skylight Gallery in the library on campus, 1 University Parkway, University Park. For more than 25 years, professor emeritus Arthur P. Bourgeois has worked to obtain and curate this collection. The exhibit is on display to April 25 during library hours. BACinema Screens “Philomena”: Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago, continues its weekly film series at 7:30 p.m. The movie was nominated for Oscars including best motion picture of the year; best performance by an actress in a leading role (Judi Dench); best achievement in music written for motion pictures, original score; and best writing, adapted screenplay.
