Village to host Holiday Lights
The “Holiday Lights in Homewood” event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in downtown Homewood.
The event will feature the village’s annual tree lighting ceremony, ice sculpting demonstrations, an antique car parade, visits with Santa Claus, a bonfire, live reindeer, outdoor markets and free ice skating.

Youth commission to offer babysitter training
The Evergreen Park Youth commission will host an American Academy of Pediatrics Babysitter’s Training Class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Park Community Center, 3450 W. 97th St.
The class is for those age 12 and older. The cost is $45, and registration is required.

TINLEY PARK
Pack 442 to host Spaghetti Dinner
Cub Scout Pack 442 will host its Spaghetti Dinner with Santa event from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Tinley Park Community Church, 7939 W. 167th St.
Tickets are $7 for general admission; $6 for seniors age 65 and older and children ages 6 to 10; and free for children age 5 and younger.
Attendees can bring new hats, scarves and gloves for the church’s Christmas tree.
