Winter Walk, Chili Dinner event returns to GSU

Attendees can experience a winter landscape filled with art during the annual Winter Walk and Chili Dinner from 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 26 at Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park at Governors State University, 1 University Parkway, University Park.
Sculpture park director and curator Geoffrey Bates will lead a tour of the park’s artworks, including the newly installed piece “Wind Waves” by artist Yvonne Domenge.
Following the walk, sculpture park board member Leona Calvin and her husband, George, will provide a dinner featuring George’s chili.
Participants should meet in GSU’s Hall of Governors prior to the walk. The walk and dinner will be held, snow or shine, unless the daytime temperature is below 20 degrees.
Reservations are required by Jan. 18, and the event is limited to 35 participants.
