GSU hosts health care leadership program

Governors State University, 1 University Parkway, University Park, will host “Leadership in an Era of Health Care Reform: Quality and Patient Safety Implications” at 6 p.m. April 2 in Sherman Hall.
Dr. Ann Scott Blouin, executive vice president of customer relations, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, will discuss health care leadership in an ever-changing health care environment.
Blouin has more than 30 years of health care administration, consulting and nursing experience, and has held several leadership positions. She is a published author, has taught at nursing and medical schools, and serves on the National Patient Safety Foundation Board of Governors.
The program is sponsored by GSU’s Student Healthcare Management Association and is free.
