Pro Wrestling Pick: ‘Fancypants’ premiere

A comedy-drama directed by Joshua Russell, “Fancypants” stars WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper, Patrick Gleason and Robert Carradine.
The cast and crew include colorist Bob Sliga, of Frankfort; marketing intern Jason Johnson, of Markham; grip Terence Sims, of Country Club Hills; production assistant Kelly Carevic, of Orland Park; and actors Frank Pensa, of Palos Park, as Ref and Screen Actors Guild member Jim Marchert, of New Lenox, as Doc.
AMC River East 21 in Chicago will host the Chicago premiere of “Fancypants,” which begins on Sept. 29.
