Park Forest House Museum celebrates a 1950s Easter

The 1950s Park Forest House Museum, 141 Forest Blvd., will display “Step Back into a 1950s Easter” through May 4.

Decorations include Easter die cuts, honeycomb rabbits and baskets, plastic and tin decorations, children’s books, and Easter baskets with candy that was available in the 1950s. There is a special display of hand-blown, hand-painted eggs from the World War II era.

The museum is open from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays. It is open to groups by appointment.

The donation is $5 for adults. Children 12 and younger are free with an adult. Scout and school tours are priced individually.
