Art Institute group travels to Morton Arboretum
Southland Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago will take an April 10 bus tour to the Morton Arboretum and Elmhurst Art Museum.
Price is $90 for members and $100 for nonmembers. A buffet lunch is included.
Departure will be at 9 a.m. from the Flossmoor Country Club with return at 4 p.m.

Boy Scout Troop 318 marks 75th anniversary
Orland Park Village Hall, 14700 Ravinia Ave., will host a meet and greet with Orland Park Boy Scout Troop 318 Eagle Scouts at 6 p.m. Monday.
The troop will present the colors for the Orland Park Village Board meeting at 7 p.m.
Festivities will move to the Orland Park Civic Center, 14750 Ravinia Ave., at 7:30 p.m. with Peter’s Project Big Band Swing and dinner.

League of Women Voters hosts District 161 forum
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, the Homewood-Flossmoor Area League of Women Voters will sponsor a Flossmoor School District 161 candidate forum at Parker Junior High School, 2810 School St., Flossmoor.
Candidates include incumbents Timijanel Boyd Odom and Christine Johnson Marks as well as Stephen M. Parades, Shelley Amuh and Lisa M. Harrell.

MVCC to present spring job and internship fair
Moraine Valley Community College’s Job and Internship Fair is 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday in the Moraine Business and Conference Center, 9000 W. College Parkway, Palos Hills.
Registration is not required.
