More than 30 people were cited or charged with crimes ranging from battery and theft to trespassing Friday at a concert in Tinley Park, the most for any event at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre this summer, police said.
Three juveniles and six adults were arrested at the outdoor theater, while 22 others were ticketed for local ordinance violations, Tinley Park police Sgt. Lorelei Mason said Monday.
Two juveniles were charged with possession of a controlled substance, and one was charged with battery, Mason said. Charges against the six adults included battery, theft, possession of marijuana and criminal trespass.
Ordinance violations included eight for underage possession of alcohol, seven for possession of marijuana, three for fighting in public, and others for possession of drug equipment, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass and obstructing police, Mason said.
Friday’s draw was the “Influence Tour,” featuring rap artists Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, Chiddy Bang, Schoolboy Q and Chevy Woods.
