Chances to win vehicles, cash

Four Winds Casino Resort will award two Mercedes-Benz GLK350 sport utility vehicles, valued at more than $36,000 each, and a share of $25,000 in cash in November.

The drawing for the SUV will take place at 3 and 10 p.m. EST Nov. 27 at the New Buffalo, Mich., casino. Additionally, a share of $25,000 in cash will be given away to W Club members every hour between 1 and 11 p.m. EST.

W Club members began receiving one free entry daily on Oct. 31 by visiting the W Club players club.

In other news, Four Winds was voted best overall hotel casino and received 15 other awards in Strictly Slots' Best of Slots 2010 for the Native Mid-West region.

Additionally, $100,709 in cash was awarded to 167 W Club members in October through W Club jackpots, which are awarded randomly to guests using their W Club cards while playing.

Majestic Star

Fridays and Saturdays are going to be lucky for guests at the Majestic Star Casino in Gary, and it will fit right in with the holiday gift-giving season.

The promotion 3x4x is for Access and Platinum cardholding members, who can earn extra winnings while playing all slot machines, except for video poker, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A spokesman said officials also are going over the success of promotions featured at the Majestic Star in 2009 and will come up with some of the best and most successful to bring back as the Best of 2010.

In other news, the Majestic Star is continuing the Asian Buffet featured on Tuesdays for $9.99 in November and December.

Blue Chip

A Harvest of Fun takes place at Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City, Ind., in November with special dining offers, entertainment and gaming excitement.

In Harvest of Cash, guests can win a share of the $40,000 total prize pool on Nov. 20. On the drawing day, Blue Chip will give away $2,000 each hour from 5 to 9 p.m. and will award $10,000 at 10 p.m.

Entries can be activated by playing slots or table games with a B Connected card on the day of the drawing starting at 6 a.m.

Also, every Tuesday in November, anyone in the casino could be a winner in Name of the Week.

Blue Chip will randomly select a first name and display it on the property. Guests with that name can visit the B Connected Club to take home some cool Blue Chip merchandise.

Guests who prefer live poker should visit the Poker Room to get information on various events. For instance,there are Fabulous Fridays and Super Saturdays.

Every Friday and Saturday in November, players can win $100 in hourly giveaways from 7 to 9 p.m. and a prize of $500 at 10 p.m.

Entries are earned by winning with a full house or better during the previous week. Second-chance hourly drawings take place on Saturdays, with $100 given away between 7 and 9 p.m. and $500 given away at 10 p.m.

Other special sessions include At the Game for football fans. Guests can pick the winners of each week's NFL games to earn entry into a drawing for a chance at weekly prizes, as well as a share of the $5,000, year-end prize pool.

Blue Chip also has regular entertainment at its nightspots including It's Vegas Baby! and Rocks lounge.
