The Christmas Around the World and Holidays of Light exhibits continue to Jan. 6 at the Museum of Science and Industry, 57th Street and Lake Shore Drive, Chicago.
More than 50 trees reflect worldwide holiday customs.

Holiday Magic
Brookfield Zoo, 3300 Golf Road, hosts Holiday Magic from 4 to 9 p.m. Dec. 22-23 plus Dec. 26-31.
Billed as the Chicago area’s largest holiday light festival, there are more than 1 million lights, animated light displays and a laser light show.

Dec. 21’s Weekend magazine features must-see Southland homes decorated for the holidays and movie reviews of “Jack Reacher” and “Les Miserables.”
