The Chicago Kingsnakes, a popular draw in the Southland, have been selected by the Windy City Blues Society to kick off the 2012 Chicago Blues Festival at 11 a.m. June 8 on the Windy City Blues Society Stage on Columbus Drive between Monroe Street and Jackson Boulevard in Chicago.
Celebrating their 29th year, the Chicago Kingsnakes are promoting their 10th release, “Blue Mosaic,” which features 12 original Chicago blues tunes from the quartet.
