Here is a look at top events you won’t want to miss.

The Beverly Arts Center, 2407 W. 111th St., Chicago, will continue its weekly film series with Canadian movie “Monsieur Lazhar” on June 20.

‘Dralion’
This is my favorite Cirque du Soleil show, so I’m thrilled that the tour will be coming through the area from June 20 to 24 at Allstate Arena, 6920 N. Mannheim Road, Rosemont, and June 27 to July 1 at the United Center, 1901 W. Madison St., Chicago.

Carpe Weekend launches a revamped format focusing on a main entertainment event with a couple of other picks for the weekend. This installment includes the Great Canal Caper in Lockport, author Kim Strickland in Chicago’s Beverly community and Five Guys Named Moe performing in Blue Island.
There is also a movie review of “Rock of Ages,” which will screen early at some theaters.
